Carbon & H2(Optics) Branding

Carbon & (H2)Optics is a research lab at Cleveland State University. They research carbon cycling and broad scale ecosystem processes across aquatic systems, from rivers to lakes to the global ocean. They specialize in observing the Greak Lakes and coastal ocean systems using data collected directly in an environment and using data collected by airborne and satellite sensors. The goal with this branding is to envision an identity for the lab that is consistent with their research and personnel. This brand is meant to feel approachable, competent, positive, distinctive, and welcoming.
